11-2011 Congratulations to Jonathan the latest recipient of the Legacy Scholarship Program.  Jonathan is a patient of Dr. Brent Morrill.

In June  2011, after a very in-depth site survey by the Joint Comission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, OSA is proud to announce that we continue to be the only Oral Surgery practice in Colorado Springs to gain accreditation status. This rigorous process is completely voluntary and encompasses a complete review of the practice, including practice administration and governance, patient safety, infection control, environment of care, patient rights and responsibilites, just to name a few.

In May 2011, OSA submitted an application to the Better Business Bureau's "Excellence in Customer Service" award program.  We believe there is always room for improvement, both in process and service.  It is with this attitude that we re-apply for the BBB's award program.  As we engage in this endeavor, we are enthusiastic for the opportunity to have an independant assessment to re-evaluate our practices and procedures in order to improve our provided customer services.  We look forward to the challenges attached to this process and welcome the insightful responses that will give us the opportunity to learn how to better serve our customers. Winners will be announced at the September 23rd, 2011 awards galla

Oral Surgery Associates is proud to sponsor The OSA Legacy Scholarship Program.  Created by Dr. John Hildebrandt, this program is designed to support our youth in pursuing their educational goals. The Doctor’s goal is to help them realize their full potential as educated, productive and contributing citizens of their communities.  This program provides the student with opportunities for any trade, undergraduate, graduate or post graduate studies.  It is also a way of saying, ‘Thank You for choosing Oral Surgery Associates”.

Every time OSA reaches 100 qualified participants * in this program, a student will be chosen and OSA will present one $1,000.00 scholarship to the educational institution of that individual’s choice.  The scholarship funds may be used for any continuing education program for that student.  (Note:  In the event the winner is still in secondary school, funds will be set aside and designated for that individual, and administered when the time is appropriate.)  We will update the “OSA Legacy Scholarship Program” information weekly, on our web site, for you to follow.  Each winner will be contacted directly and the results will be sent out to all 100 participants in an E-mail.  The program will then begin again, for then next 100 qualifying participants*.
